Jeremiah 33:19-21
“The word of the LORD came to Jeremiah: “Thus says the LORD: If you can break my covenant with the day and my covenant with the night, so that day and night will not come at their appointed time, then also my covenant with David my servant may be broken, so that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne, and my covenant with the Levitical priests my ministers.”
I have found these words encouraging and comforting knowing that when God makes a promise He keeps it. As the Lord said IF you can break his covenant with day and night then His covenant could be broken. As I look out my patio window and see the trees coming to life again I am once more reminded of Gods Faithfulness. He is the same forever and ever amen.
Malichi 3:6 says “I the Lord do not change.” So we can be assured that what He says He will do and in Romans 8: 38-39, Paul says, “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Just some words of truth to cheer us on.
